We have attempted to reach out to each of our patients who missed their routine dental appointments between March and June, but please give us a call if you are overdue for treatment. Delays in routine treatment can result in the spread or worsening of decay or infection, and may cause other health issues.
We have been safely seeing patients for regular cleanings and routine dental treatment in our office since June. Dental offices are among the safest health care facilities, and dental care remains an essential health care service.
Routine dental visits are important because they allow your doctor and hygienist to:
- detect and treat any level of gingivitis or gum disease
- screen for oral cancer and other signs of oral disease
- detect early indications of disease and plan for any necessary preventive dentistry
