Dr. Austin Le, DDS, MSc

Dr. Le

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Dr. Austin Le is a practicing orthodontist who has found a home in New York City and works closely with patients every day to help them attain their best healthy smiles.

He obtained both his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and his specialty certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, with honors, at New York University (NYU). During his extensive education, he was a recipient of the Rahmsdorf academic scholarship and the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) Award for Outstanding Senior in Orthodontics, and was inducted into the OKU National Honor Society for high academic achievement. Having also received numerous national research grants, Dr. Le still holds an Assistant Research Scientist appointment at NYU Langone Health. With over 30 peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters to date, Dr. Le remains an active public health researcher focusing on drug use epidemiology and oral health. His achievements as a dual clinician-researcher led to his induction into the New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) as a Member.

Prior to his career in dentistry, Dr. Le worked in the private sector as a consultant in the health sciences arena. He also obtained a Master’s degree (MSc) in International Health Policy and Health Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Physiology at McGill University.

In his spare time, Dr. Le enjoys eating out, cooking, and traveling, but is equally content reading, playing basketball, and simply spending time with his loved ones.
