Dr. Ji Yoo Lee, General Dentist

Dr. Ji Yoo Lee

Dr. Lee is a general dentist with experience in oral diagnosis and various dental treatments including crowns, bridges, implant restorations, dentures, rotary endodontics, and extractions.

Dr. Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States when she was 15 years old. Dr. Lee graduated from University of California, San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Her interest in scientific research led her to begin her career in two different research labs in Boston. She then moved to Baltimore to obtain her Master of Health Science degree in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Lee soon found her passion for dentistry and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Indiana University School of Dentistry. In dental school, she was actively involved in Microbiology research and received Colgate Research Award from American Association for Women Dentists and Honors Certificate in Research in her senior year.

Dr. Lee completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Jacobi Medical Center in New York, as well as a second year GPR as chief resident at the same hospital.

Dr. Lee is a member of the New York State Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She currently serves as a part-time attending at Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and traveling to see her family and friends.
