Dr. Danielle Messina was born and raised in northern New Jersey. From an early age, she knew she wanted to pursue dentistry, and she began her journey by attending Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where she earned her B.S., in Biology. She then received her M.S. from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Biomedical Sciences and decided to attend NYU College of Dentistry to fulfill her ambitions of becoming a dentist.
Dr. Messina graduated in the top 15% of her class while engaging in a variety of extracurriculars including being a peer tutor, class curriculum representative, secretary of NYUCD and a prosthodontic teaching assistant. It was through these experiences that she knew she wanted to pursue a higher level of dental education and be able to address complex dental rehabilitations. She completed a postgraduate specialty residency in Prosthodontics at NYUCD.
Her passion for both exceptional patient-centered care, communication and dedication to treatment can be appreciated in her daily practice.
In her free time, Dr. Messina enjoys cooking, attending concerts, and trying new restaurants in the city.
